A former gravel pit and landfill site between Moreton and Bobbingworth, restored by Veolia and opened as a nature reserve in 2011. It is predominantly grassland, sown with wild flowers and with patches of trees and shrubs, and has a wetland area at its southern end. It has a good variety of plants and animals, including slow worms that were introduced specially. Its diversity should continue to improve as the habitats mature.

Visiting

Pedestrian entrances and car park east of Moreton Bridge road, just south of Moreton village.

Accessible at all times.

An accessible path runs the length of and across the site from the car park.
